Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Knotwork Inc. (“Knotwork,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use our website and product, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information — name, work email, company, and anything else you provide when requesting a demo or creating an account.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and basic device/browser information, collected via privacy-respecting analytics.
- Billing information — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store full card numbers ourselves.
- Workflow content — data you configure Knotwork to access in order to run your automations (e.g. email content, spreadsheet rows, desktop application data), solely to execute the workflows you build.
How we use it
- To provide, maintain, and improve the product.
- To respond to demo requests, support questions, and other communications you initiate.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To monitor for abuse, fraud, and security issues.
Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers who help us run Knotwork — currently our hosting provider (Vercel) and, once payments are enabled, our payment processor (Stripe). We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain account and workflow data for as long as your account is active, and demo-request information for as long as needed to follow up with you. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@knotwork.example.
Children’s privacy
Knotwork is a business tool and is not directed at, or intended for use by, children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
